The day after Thanksgiving we took a trip to a Tree Farm near our apartment. When we arrived we found a nice, sweet Croatian couple to help us with cutting our tree down. We ended up getting more than we bargained for and quite the show. The husband ended up being drunk as a skunk! I got a kick out him although, I do have to say he made me nervous as he carried around his chain saw!!! Our trip was a success as we found the PERFECT tree and it looked so good in our house!

For Christmas, Mike came up with the idea to make a few different kinds of cookies and send them to our families. What an adventure!!! We ended up making Double Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter, the cookies that have Hershey Kisses in the middle, and a classic Chocolate Chip w/ swirled white chocolate w/ red & green chips.
