So, Saturday was a nice and steady day at work. Lots of people needing beautified for the holidays, I'm guessing. Towards the end of the day a couple brothers came in needing a haircut. So, I took one of them back to my chair. First he request a fohawk on top. Ok, no big deal, right? Next, he requested steps on both sides of his hair. Ok, haven't done that type of thing in YEARS but, no big deal AGAIN, right? Well, just when I thought I conquered this haircut and would be moving onto the next one, well, I thought wrong. He then asks me shave a star in the back of his head. I laughed and thought he was just being funny. However, he was completely serious. So, I decided to try and attempt it. So, we practiced first by drawing on the back of his head with a pen. I felt like I was a tatoo artist, preparing to give his first tatoo or something. So, after a few attempts of drawing the perfect star he approved. The time came to shave the star. So, with deep breaths from both he and I (and me trying to control my tremors, ha ha) I went for it. Well, you can see how it turned out. I have to say that it turned out better than expected, THANK HEAVENS!!!! My client loved it and left a great tip! Oh happy day!!!! Good times!Monday, December 14, 2009

Way to go. It looks great, but why oh why would a guy ever want a star on the back of his head?! :) You better watch out, you did such a good job he is going to come back and want something else. :)
That is so awesome. The star turned out great! Now I just need to drive all the way down there so I can get my hair cut. Maybe I could get a star in Jack's hair....
That's hilarious! Great job!
