This weekend, while Mike was here, we took the kids hiking. Like most kids, my kids absolutely LOVE being outside! It was gorgeous weather, so we went to one of little adventure spots that we take the kids. We packed a lunch and snacks and off we went. For those of you who know Connor, he is really timid when it comes to being brave and aggressive. He's more the type to stand back and watch and maybe, just maybe, he'll try it....but not likely. That's just him. Rylie, on the other hand, is our little dare devil and doesn't seem to be afraid of anything. Well, when we go hiking their personalities seem to reverse. Connor is not afraid of a thing! He always leads the hikes and has no problem with heights, cramped spaces, caves, ledges, etc. He's all about them! Rylie, on the other hand, is scared to death. Unless the ground is flat then she has to be holding someone's hand the whole time and is saying, "Oooh! Oooh! Oooh!" over and over, like she got hurt! It's so interesting to me! We had a great time! It was so nice to be outdoors, where the kids could just wander wherever, and to have all the time in the world with them and Mike!

So fun!! I think I've been there before. Rylie is huge!! She is all toddler and no baby. So sad! :(
ah! Looks like you had fun! the weather was SOOO beautiful this weekend!
How funny! Bauer and Cadance are kind of the same way so far. She'll do pretty much anything and Bauer's always been a little more cautious about things. It'll be fun to see what happens as Cadance gets older!
Fun! Hey were you guys in St. George?
