Mmmmm, REFRESHING!!!
The first week of June was Air Force Week! We met up with my brother and his family and went to see it! I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE airplanes so, this was an exciting event to go to!!! The weather couldn't have been more perfect! We even ran into one of my FAVORITE mission companions! It was great to see all the different planes and helicopters and to see what they could do! My favorite parts of the air show is the giant C130 Hercules airplane! It's HUGE and amazing to see it in the take off, land, and fly! Of course, the highlight of the event is the Thunderbirds! It's absolutely amazing and baffling how they can perform all the formations, etc. in perfect harmony! I have the greatest respect for pilots and wish I could be one! Rylie seemed to not even mind the sound of the jets flying by. Once in a while she would jump but, not bad. Now Connor, on the other hand, has really sensitive ears so, he spent a lot of time plugging his ears (even with ear plugs). So, he didn't have as much fun as the rest of us. I think that it ended up being such a great day and had a great time!!!!
