Wow! It's only Tuesday and I feel like it's been a long week already! First of all, I am finally feeling better and may live after all! Woo Hoo! So, our Branch was cancelled after Sacrament Meeting due to the weather and over 1/2 our congregation missing because of accidents, etc. The weather is FREEZING!!!! I just love it! Well, not really! I do wish I had my snowmobiles! It'd be so dang fun to go out and drive around because the snow is perfect for it!!! This past weekend I had either a reality check or realized how behind I was on housework, etc. from being so sick. Needless to say, I had a breakdown when I realized how much I needed to do! Then, it hit me how much time is left until I deliver our new munchkin and the sobbing continued! I was completely and utterly overwhelmed. So, I did was O.C.D. (obsessive compulsive) people do best! I made a list! It kind of made me feel better to see what needed to do so I could mark it off as I go! When Monday morning the "To-Do" list came into effect. I decided to start with #1 (brilliant idea, eh?), which was to clean out the kitchen cupboards, reorganize, and make room for bottles and other feeding items. So, I began! It was a lot of work but I'm so glad I did it! My kitchen is much more organized, I know where things are, I know what things we have, and it's CLEAN!!!! I also made a spot that is specifically for bottles, etc. So, I then got all of our bottles, etc. out and began to clean. Another reality check set in! Holy cow! I have another child coming soon! Yes, I realize it's a little late to be noticing this, ha ha! However, although I was still scared and overwhelmed I also felt excitement and anxiousness for what's ahead. It also gave me more motivation to work hard and be as prepared as I can for this new baby!
Later that night I met up with Alyson, Amy, and Anders to go on tour of the Ingham Hospital. What an adventure that was! We weren't completely sure where to park so we followed a map. So, we parked in the parking garage. BIG MISTAKE!!!! It was the back entrance to the main part of the hospital. To find the Women/Children's Center was a maze and a half to go through! Yay for adventures!!!! We arrived and first met with a nurse who talked to us for a while. We then got to walk through the Delivery area, etc. to check it out. I have to say that I was somewhat disappointed. I delivered Connor in the Logan Regional Hospital. The Women's Center was brand new and the rooms are quite large, bigger than the ones in this hospital. However, these were still nice and would be totally fine! One thing they mentioned, that I really like, is that they quickly return the baby back to the mother after delivery! With Connor I didn't see him for 2-3 hours after the delivery. So, I'm excited about that! Anyway, it was really good to see where to go, what to expect, and to develop some sort of familiar feeling about the hospital.
This morning I woke up feeling completely not motivated AT ALL!!!! I just wanted to be lazy! The missionaries came over and got their hair cut. That kind of woke me up and got me going. After cleaning up and putting stuff away it was time to work on another item on my list. The item I chose to work on was organizing Connor's room, putting away baby gifts, and making room for the baby. So, off I went. Surprisingly enough it didn't take that long at all! It just took some focus and drive and I got it done pretty fast! Phew! Another item checked off my list!
I'm starting to feel better about things now. I only have a few, smaller items to do on my list before I'm caught up. Right now I'm more focused on getting my house back to normal, clean, and in some sort of order! It never ends, does it?

No, the housework never, ever ends!
I can't believe you didn't see Connor for so long after you had him, that's crazy!
Uh oh, you are NESTING!!!!! This means the baby really is getting close to getting here!
Ah yes, sounds like nesting to me too :) And as a fellow OCDer - there's nothing that gives me more joy than crossing things off my (many,
many, many) To-Do lists! LOL!
As for the hospital - you've probably figured it out already but you have to take that 2nd entrance in the back and it plops you right to delivery. (Dan and I did a couple of test runs - getting there and walking the halls) because we kept getting lost! Hahaha
I got to stay in my birthing suite - it was awesome! Hopefully you'll get lucky and won't have to move you...
I love making to-do lists too! Although it's rare for me to ever finish one list but it's still fun to make!
LOL - I just saw Mike in the library like 2 seconds ago...
Sounds like you are totally ready for the baby to come. Nesting up a storm!! I am waiting anxiously to see who wins the dinner, You or Ayson???? Which will it be???
Can I just say how proud I am of you? I haven't cleaned since I got pregnant with Simon and now he's 5 months old. Seriously!
