The Date is Scheduled!!!!!
I had another Dr. appointment today for a prenatal visit. Today I got to have the wonderful glucose test and drink the yummy orange drink! Mmmm! At first it wasn't too bad but 1/2 way through drinking it I wanted to vomit! You'd think a sugar fanatic like me could handle it! So, I finished drinking the tonic juice then met with Dr. Gibbs. Everything is great with the baby. The heartrate was at 145, I'm measuring just a little bigger than I should but there's no concern, and I haven't gained any weight still! Wahoo! I also found out I've been having a few contractions but nothing serious. They just want me to drink more water. They took my blood to test for diabetes, etc. Unfortunately they had to take the blood from my had, which hurt like a bugger! The fun part was being able to schedule my c-section!!!!!! On March 17th (St. Patrick's Day), at around 8:30am, we will be meeting the new baby boy or baby girl McGinnis!!!!! I am so excited I am able to have the baby on that day and Dr. Gibbs will be the one performing the c-section.

Oh, that is just sick! You haven't gained any weight, and you know when your baby will be born! You should see how HUGE I am now, and let's not talk about how much weight I'VE gained. I thought the orange drink tasted pretty much like orange soda....
So exciting about the date being set! March 17 is our oldest daughter's birthday. So I think you are having a girl. I had 5 C-sections. They are no picnic, but you will do great. So when do we get to see photos of the new hair cut? And I didn't know you met Christina Aguilera's dad in NYC? That's kind of crazy. But then, NYC is kind of a crazy place! We love you guys so much!
Oh my gosh, I can't believe you've scheduled your c-section! Doesn't that freak you out a little?! I don't have to think about that for a while but I still get a little freaked out if I start to think about it too much.
I'm glad that you're home and Bauer and I can't wait to see everyone on Wednesday!
I liked the orange stuff - tastes like Sunkist :) Dr. Gibbs had to do an emergency C-section on someone while she was in the middle of delivering Maya!
Congrats on being so close to having the baby! My guess is that it's a boy too. Any names yet?
Are you kidding me? March is so soon. Can't they put it off until like May or June?? That would make me feel better since I'm due one month after you. I could handle waiting until June or July for our little one. And YES, where are those pictures of your new cute self???
