This week is a non-eventful week for us so, I decided that this week would be a good time to try potty training Connor again. So, we began this morning. We took the advice of Alyson and stuck Connor on his potty in front of the TV with juice and snacks. The first hour went great! He sat there, no problem, and after an hour he went pee. He was so very excited and ran around the house, screaming with excitement. About 30 minutes later we noticed him walking around funny so we asked if he needed to go poo poo. Sure enough he did but he would only do it in the privacy of his bedroom. He did it though. He goofed around for an hour with underwear on. An hour later we sat him down and he went pee again!!!!! So, Mike took him to McDonald's. After being there for a while Mike tried to get him to go potty on the toilet but he wouldn't because the toilets were "too big!" He came home, had a nap, and we tried again. He pee'd 4 times on the floor and once in the potty! I'm so overwhelmed and stressed I could cry and have cried! Am I making any progress? Potty Training Progress?????

Well, he went in the potty so I would call that progress! We still have yet to hit that milestone. Good luck!
Potty training is hard! Don't give up. It will all work out. It is just a matter of figuring out what he loves the most and having him get that as a reward. You can do it!
Don't give up! You will be glad that you don't have two kids in diapers.
Did you get him the small potty seat for the toilet? We let Andrew pick out his and we didn't get him a small potty so he doesn't have a choice :) Honestly, we're still trying. It's really frustrating. I finally just figured out what his "currency" is though. He loves his pajamas and wants to stay in them all day, so the deal is - if he stays dry and goes in the potty he gets to keep wearing his pajamas. I also made a potty chart and he gets to earn prizes. I put pictures of the prizes onto the chart so that he can remember what he's working for. Don't worry if you cry about it - you're normal and he'll get it eventually. My mom always tells me not to worry because boys potty train later than girls do.
im so glad im not there yet, im not looking forward to it, i hear boys are harder to potty train, and p.s. im tagging you, check out my blog for the fun thingy
You are doing awesome!! He is only 2 right?? And he is starting to use the potty. Accidents will always happen!!! You are doing great. I broke down crying sooo many times potty training Abby, it was horrible. So don't feel discouraged and keep on going.
